Cooling Tower microbiological control is an important and intergral part of effctive monitoring program.

Chlorine based biocide is widely injected as part of  microbiological control in cooling tower systems. With the chlorine characteristic as strong oxidizing agents in water, is a key element in killing bacteria and other microorganisms. Routine testing is important to confirm effective chlorine residuals are maintained. Low residuals can result in poor microbiological control.
